These are our service fees only. State DMV fees, use tax and any late penalties are set by the DMV, collected on their behalf, and charged on top. We don't mark those up — they're the same whether you come to us or stand in line.

The two rows where they beat us are real, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. The DMV is free and it's open more days than we are. What you're paying us for is your time — and not having to take a morning off work to spend it in a plastic chair. If that trade isn't worth it to you, genuinely: go to the DMV. We'd rather tell you that than waste your afternoon.

Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during business hours and we'll take care of you. If you'd like to confirm we can handle a specific transaction, a quick call ahead never hurts.
How is this different from going to the DMV?
We're a DMV-authorized partner, so we process the same official transactions the DMV would — usually with little or no wait, and you leave with your tags in hand. We charge a service fee for that (published on this page — $35 for a renewal, $55 for a title transfer); the state's own DMV fees are the same either way. And to be straight with you: you can absolutely do all of this at the DMV yourself for free. What you're paying us for is not spending your morning there.
What should I bring?
It depends on the transaction. For a renewal, bring your renewal notice or current registration. For a transfer, bring the signed title and bill of sale. Not sure? Call us at (818) 422-2168 and we'll give you the exact list before you come in.
Can you register a car I'm bringing from another state?
Yes — we handle the registration side of it. One thing to know: out-of-state cars also need a VIN verification, which is a separate state licence we don't hold. Bring us a completed verification (REG 31) and we'll take it from there. Call us and we'll tell you exactly where to get one nearby.
Do you take walk-ins for title transfers?
Yes. Bring the properly signed title and supporting documents and we'll complete the transfer of ownership on the spot.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, debit and credit cards. Our service fees are published on this page, and the DMV's own fees depend on your specific vehicle — call us with your plate or VIN and we'll tell you the exact total before you come in.
